Tom has been designing and building custom residential and commercial projects for Bay Area architecture firms and clients for more than 20 years. He has substantial experience in the design/build process, taking projects from concept to completion. He believes that successful projects begin from informed guidelines and a clearly defined design program. 

As a Bay Area native, Tom has developed a strong appreciation for Bay Region Style, with its distinctive features of place, indoor-outdoor spaces, and the use of natural building materials.

Tom received a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1980. He is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Arts.
